It’s our annual “mandatory family fun” at Oak Park. We’ve been doing this outing for about 15 years. I try and take pictures in the same places each year. We didn’t make it last year, so it was a “must do” in 2019.

It was noted that this year I didn’t tell anyone to “get down from there…” I guess I figured when you are 16 and 17 years old, and you get hurt climbing on some rocks, that’s your own fault.
The ground was very crunchy, which one boy noted it would be “really hard to sneak up on someone.”

To add to the excitement of the day, we found a rotting fish in a tree. How did it get there? We decided at one point, the lily pond had flooded, and the fish got stuck here.
