After qualifying at the Midwest Collegiate Disc Golf Tournament in Winfield in March, ESU's disc golf teams competed nationally in North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains.
More than 700 players from 80 colleges and universities competed at the College Disc Golf Nationals in North Carolina. Despite the temperamental weather, it was a lot of fun.
We ended Spring Break in Winfield and Arkansas City. It was super cold. Our Airbnb was about the size of a tiny home. But we qualified for the national collegiate disc golf championship in North Carolina!
Two disc golf tournaments back-to-back! This one was closer to home. This was an interesting angle. You can't really tell but there's a pretty good drop off. He's standing on some snowy rocks. But he made the putt. The best part about the day was big brother showed up to caddy!
We traveled to Jonesboro, AR to watch Kid #2 play in a large regional disc golf tournament. There were 146 players and 38 teams registered for the event. The course was at Disc Side of Heaven a difficult course and one the pros play.
