With a team spread out in three offices in two states, Slack has become our lifeline. It was down yesterday, and we didn’t know what to do. Communicate with the dreaded email? Have 16 3-way calls? Text?
You see, Slack has become our team’s go-to communication method. It works better than email, can be used on any device and supports GIFs. I mean…what else do you need?
Here’s why I like Slack:
You can see the entire conversation. With email, you might get left off a response, and then added back in later, but then you’ve missed part of the conversation. With Slack, you can see how everyone commented on a certain message.
You can use emoji’s to communicate. Because…emojis! 😀
It’s like instant messaging, but better.
It integrates with Google Drive, plus a bunch of other apps.
