Parent’s weekend in Tulsa and I packed the wrong clothes. It’s November, except it’s hot. Which makes it really uncomfortable when you are outside all day without proper attire!
The fraternity had a tailgate before the game. They had a traveling axe throwing trailer, so Kid 1 and I tried our hand… I didn’t get any pictures. In fact, the only photos I have of the weekend is this one!
Friday evening we met the girlfriend’s parents out for dinner, and had a great evening. Sunday morning, we met up with Kid 1 and his girlfriend at the park for lunch. Since we had Ali with us, we had to find somewhere “dog friendly” to eat.
This year we stayed in a different airbnb (a little more modern than last year) within walking distance to the campus. It had a fenced in backyard, but Ali wouldn’t go out there by herself. 😆
On the way hone, she soooo wanted to sit in the front seat with me, but she is so wiggly sometimes that it’s hard to manage. Eventually I allowed her to come up front with us… I mean… who can resist?
