CliffsNotes version of Mom’s weekend in Tulsa:
π½οΈ Eating out
We ate at a really good Italian place for dinner, a downtown lunchy-type sandwich place and Sunday breakfast at the Route 66 diner, Tally’s. One night we ate with the girlfriend, lunch was with a few friends and their moms, and Sunday breakfast was just the two of us.
π¨ Painting
With a 9 am paint time (and the bar was open!), we painted Monet’s Waterlilies. Not quite the same…
πΌοΈ πΈ Philbrook Museum of Art
I had never been to the Philbrook and it did not disappoint! The inside is gorgeous and the grounds were beautiful too! It was a nice day so we spent quite a bit of time outside. There’s a cool cabin you can walk through where the fireplace is made of books and the windows were beautiful stained glass.

Kid 1 tolerated me wanting to swing on the porch swings that lined one of the garden areas. π€£
Of course we went through the special exhibit and took goofy pics at the selfie station.
π₯ Movie – 65. ππ Two thumbs down.
