The boys arrived home on Tuesday. Shawna and her family spent the night at our house on Tuesday night, en route to Oklahoma City. Pam and Ted arrived on Wednesday and stayed through Friday. Sherry arrived on Friday and stayed through Sunday.
We celebrated Thanksgiving at our house. As usual, we skipped the turkey and grilled steak, salmon an chicken. Since our back deck was unavailable, we grilled on the driveway.
We also had fruit salad, a green salad, mashed potatoes, green beans, bread with dipping oil, vegetable tray, and Jiffy cream corn bread. I made my annual ultimate chocolate cake and chocolate chip cookies.
I made white Sangria – Pinot Grigio with I cup green apple vodka, along with diced apples, pears, oranges, cinnamon sticks and pomegranate seeds. It was eh…
We played Yahtzee and hung around the house. The weather cooperated, so of course, disc golf.
But first, I made the boys take pictures at Oak Park. We’ve been taking pictures in the same spot since the boys were small.
