We arrived home from San Diego around 9 p.m. on Christmas night. We had been gone for a week, so the next day I headed to the grocery store for food. The Hilgers arrived later that day.
We opened stockings and presents on Dec. 26. The boys received money, and Kid 2 got a subscription to the Adobe Creative Suite. Santa brought another year of Netflix.
In the boys’ stockings, Santa brought Bombas socks (our favorite), candy, travel toiletries, and hand warmers. For the engineer, a pocket engineer ruler, and for the graphic designer, design tips playing cards.
I think there was disc golf sometime this week, and Christmas dinner on Dec. 27. There was the traditional daily morning trip to Starbucks for coffee, and then back to mom and dad’s for conversation.
I didn’t take any pictures during our holiday celebrations… 😞 so I’ll end with this cute picture I took of Ali.
