It was a low-key holiday this year.

We paid for our “house lights” again this year. This was a Christmas present from Sc back in 2020. And you know how it goes – once you start you can’t stop.

Both boys were home by Dec. 19.

I had to take a quick overnight work trip the week of Christmas. I love the Southwest gate when I arrived back home! And the Christmas tree in the airport. The good news is I made it home before the #SouthwestMeltdown2022.

This was the fountain outside of the restaurant. That gives you an idea of the weather this year.

My nephew secretly put up an inflatable holiday goat in our yard. In case you don’t know, yard inflatables is a pet peeve of mine.

The boys got Sc a gift… 😆 🥏

The boys’ Christmas list consisted of “cash.” We did give Kid #1 and electronics cheat sheet poster and Kid #2 got a map of disc golf courses in the U.S.

I snoozed through New Years celebrations as I was asleep by 10:45 p.m. The boys were both with friends.

The next day we finished the Harry Potter series (again). We also binged the Wednesday series on Netflix. The boys had not seen the original 1960s Addams Family, and didn’t realize it was in black and white!
