This kid got the shaft with his braces. He was on the tail end of getting them off – then #COVIDchaos happened. We were unable to see the orthodontist, which set us back several months.
The tiny silver lining is that for the last 10 months everyone was wearing masks anyway, so…
With this recent development, our family is now braces-free after almost seven years (and roughly $15,000 later).
I got mine off in 2017, along with my then 14-year-old (who is now 18). Scott got his off in the 1980s, so we don’t count his time. 😆
