Class of 2021 and 2022!
Pre-pandemic, the first day of school was Aug. 12. During the coronavirus pandemic, that day got pushed three weeks to Sept. 8.
New school supply this year: masks.
Today’s first day is only for kids who chose the hybrid option, and whose last names start with A-L.
The hybrid option is half the students in-person two days a week, and remote the remaining three days. We are not sure how long we’ll be following a hybrid schedule. We are currently at a 7% positive rate. I think we have to be below 5% to go back to five day in-person class. If the rate goes above 10%, we go to fully remote.
