We spent Thanksgiving in Kansas City at Scott’s mom house. Some of us hiked at a nearby trail. It was cold enough that I had to borrow a heavier coat! The boys were training for their Grand Canyon hike. They were originally supposed to go in October, but the north rim was engulfed in a huge wildfire and closed. They postponed the trip to December, and instead of rim to rim, they are going down and up on the same side.

Kid #2 and his girlfriend joined us later for the Thanksgiving meal. We also had to take our annual selfie!
The biggest news was the final three episodes of Stranger Things dropped this holiday season. One of them dropped Thanksgiving night. This caused a lot of debate of when we were going to watch it.
The Stranger Things series was so popular, Netflix momentarily went down when the episodes aired, causing panic with fans! The final three episodes were more like movies, lasting about two hours each.
The Christmas holiday was in full swing at Martin City Brewing!
