It appears a microchip shortage from February 2021 and supply chain challenges have resulted in a huge car shortage.
It’s super weird. Where car dealership and used car lots would be bursting with vehicles, parking lots are empty and used cars scarce. When dealers get cars, they are sold within a day. Car manufacturers have reduced their output, and economist say this will last into 2022 and might be two years before we’re back to normal.
